The Troubles...

The the last three weeks I've been racking my brains trying to fiure out what was wrong with my pc. Couldn't boot into anything, not even live linux cd's. People in the tech forums suggested every possible angle in the dilemna I was in. Everything was suspect, from RAM to motherboard failure. That scared me! Anyway, one guys suggested I just do a re-install to rule out the hard disk's possible failure. I did and it worked. Rather suspiciously I might add. So I bought DVD's for my back-up media. The last 2 weeks was spent trying to back-up everything and basically reinstalling stuff to get my pc updated. I hate doing this. But its the way it has to be. I'm going to re-install with Dapper Flight 6 today. And I hope to get everything working again real fast.
