Storm's a-brewing

This afternoon, I got a frantic call form my wife. She wanted me to go to the nearest supermarket and cart off canned goods, instant noodles and candles. She said it Region 3 was already declared to be under storm signal number 3. Pretty bad, considering the last lash of rains practically wiped out the shoreline towns and cities of Aurora and Quezon, not to mention flooding most of Nueva Ecija and Vizcaya. After scampering over to the nearest supermarket, spending 20 minutes to get what I need , standing in line for 30 minutes more, I am home at last. Dry, warm and fuzzy all over. Right now though, I'm not seeing much rain. Maybe tonight. Darn. I'll be working tonight. :-((
