Bloggers get invited to the party

Bloggers are getting noticed. The internet trend-watchers have been heralding bloggers as grassroots media, journalists who provide their own man-in-the-street accounts of events and issues. The Democratic Party's now trying to woo them, a testament to the growing influence of blogging. If you don't have a blog yet, get one going. You won't be able to understand just how powerful a tool it is in building virtual online communities unless you do. It used to be internet bullettin boards. Then message boards. Now it's the blogs that are the hub of opinion publishing and discussion.
